New Partnership with Clarius

TRB Chemedica UK are delighted to announce a new partnership with Clarius Mobile Health, the Canadian developer and manufacturer of a range of wireless handheld ultrasound scanners.

TRBUK will primarily market the L7 and L15 HD3 scanners, which are particularly suitable for MSK, Orthopaedics, and related specialties. Other model variations will shortly be added to the portfolio. The Clarius HD3 range offers the ideal wireless ultrasound scanners for a wide range of diagnostic imaging, and procedural guidance. Clinicians can make a confident diagnosis with high-resolution imaging of muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and cartilage, both at rest and in motion.

Clarius Mobile Health was founded by experienced innovators who have played an instrumental role in the ultrasound industry over the last 20 years. The developers at Clarius were the brains behind the first PC-based platform for ultrasound research. They also introduced the first touch screen ultrasound system with a simplified user interface.

Since 2016, over 20,000 clinicians worldwide have used Clarius to generate more than half a million scans. As pioneers in miniaturizing ultrasound, Clarius are on a mission to make medical imaging accessible everywhere by delivering high-performance, affordable, and easy-to-use products, with the power of artificial intelligence. They have miniaturized high quality point-of-care ultrasound to offer a safe and cost-effective option for clinicians in every specialty.

Clarius are clear about their journey so far, and where they’re going: “With decades of experience in medical imaging, our team knows that great ultrasound improves clinician confidence and patient care. That’s why we’re on a mission to make quality, easy-to-use and affordable ultrasound available to all medical professionals in every specialty.”

TRB Chemedica UK Managing Director, Mr Alex Flanagan, said: “We had been looking at various ultrasound product offerings for some time. Our premium Ostenil Range viscoelastic injectables – for joints and tendons - are often delivered under ultrasound guidance, and I was very interested in forming an alliance with a manufacturer who could provide a highly portable and affordable, cable-free device, which also offered exceptional resolution. The moment I was introduced to the Clarius HD3 range I knew it was exactly what we needed. The build quality is fantastic, connecting the handheld unit to a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop is quick and easy, and the integrated software features such as Voice Control, needle image enhancement, and Doppler are extremely helpful.“
